André Kuipers, one of the austronauts currently aboard the ISS, recently installed NightPod. The device compensates for the ISS’ movement by tracking single points on Earth automatically allowing for truly magnificent images of the blue marble during the night.

This is a picture taken  in Petalidi, Messini at “to Brisi tou Psefti”. The mountains in the background is what’s diving between Kalamata and Sparta. Kalamata city is at the summit of this mountain in this picture
